Any contraindications with the normal triazolam protocol for a dentophobic patient using a SynchroMed® pump to deliver Dilaudid® 10 mg/ml (2.5 mg/day) and clonidine 100 mcg/ml (25 mcg/day) to the lumbar area of the spine for kidney pain?
The patient also takes Lyrica® 150 mg 3x day.

These are obviously significant doses of analgesics and narcotics for neuropathic pain. Lyrica® is a funny drug since it is a pre-GABA drug. The interaction is a C interaction and, at these doses, should pose no significant problem.
In view of the multitude of analgesics and narcotics on board, you clearly have to follow Dr. Feck’s admonition to "dose low and dose slow."
