This year’s DOCS Education Seattle Conference (November 10th-12th) produced some terrific highlights and takeaways. Our outstanding faculty proved once again why DOCS Education courses are among the most-respected - and most-coveted - continuing education opportunities anywhere.

Once again, community and networking joined education and training high on the Seattle menu, not to mention the scrumptious food at our Taste of the Pacific Northwest Friday evening social hour featuring Skuna Bay Cedar Planked Salmon; Taylor Shellfish Oyster Bar; Olympia Provisions Charcuterie; Maryhill Wines; Oola Distillery specialty cocktails; and local craft beers.

Many dentists and their team members took advantage of our free professional portrait studio to have their headshots taken - as well as to capture some fun photo-booth souvenirs. DOCS Education members are entitled to free portrait photographs at each of our major regional conferences.

One lucky registrant, Dr. Joseph K. Moss of Olympia, Washington, won a $10,000 marketing package from RAMP - The Dentist’s Advertising Agency. Dr. Daniel Walsh and Dr. Eric Jorgensen each went home with a $3,500 RAMP runners-up marketing prize.

More than 70 of the dentists who registered in Seattle packed a special Lunch & Learn offered by RAMP Vice President, Joe Barton, who detailed his proprietary “Eclipse Marketing” approach that has rocketed more than 1,000 dental practices to unprecedented heights, generating over $1 billion in revenue for RAMP dentists.

Joe also unveiled his company’s revolutionary “Multi-channel Patient Reactivation Program.” Why spend a fortune trying to woo new patients, Joe asked, when you can deploy the most-sophisticated patient reactivation program in dentistry and win back former patients at a fraction of the cost?

For more details, visit: www.PatientReactivationProgram.com or give Joe a call at 610-539-6100.

Saturday’s Lunch & Learn featured a double-header designed to help dentists keep their practices and their financial lives at optimal levels. Rob Eagleston of Eagleston Financial Group titled his presentation: What Do You Mean, You’re 30 Years Old (or Older) and Don’t Yet Have a Quality Retirement Plan? Mary Lockhart of Solutionreach spoke on the topic: One-Third of Your Patients are Looking for a New Dentist. What’s the Solution?

Dr. Michael Silverman, president and co-founder of DOCS Education, hosted a special “Founder’s Luncheon” to honor long-time members of DOCS Education who have attended multiple conferences over the years. “I personally want to thank you for your loyalty to this organization and community. Our profession and our patients are all the better for the efforts that you make to come, learn, and apply your knowledge,” Dr. Silverman told the group.

If we had to sum up the three-day Seattle Conference weekend in a single word, we think faculty member Dr. Jerome P. Wellbrock (photo above) said it best: “Wow.”
