Last weekend, while many people were busy filling out their last-minute NCAA Basketball brackets or getting ready for spring-cleaning, DOCS Education had the privilege of welcoming a great group of dental professionals to our N20 and the Single-dose Sedative course in Seattle. These dedicated individuals started early Friday morning and received the latest N2O safety and technique training for their offices. These techniques include single-dose protocols to help relax fearful patients as well as handling nitrous equipment such as the Safe Sedate dental nasal mask, a product that helps reduce the emission of nitrous oxide into the dental office. Some of the doctors present had been using nitrous oxide for years, others were anxious to get started on incorporating something new into their practice. Whatever their experience, all took away new methods to help their patients. One attendee commented on how impressed he was by the wealth of information delivered in only two days. Another noted that the content was organized and presented in such a manner that she felt ready to immediately put her new skills to use.
