It has been said the city of Minneapolis has two seasons, snow removal and road repair. The DOCS Education team was quickly introduced to the cool temperatures in April as snow fell Thursday night. Although the temperature was cool outside, the course attendees quickly warmed up at the Hyatt Regency to learn sedation protocols, airway management techniques, and emergency preparedness procedures. This group of Midwest doctors was eager to listen and learn. Great questions were asked about changes to state regulations, implementation, and team training. The DOCS Education team knew that our first trip to Minnesota was a success. We look forward to seeing every one of these doctors again and supporting our new members throughout their sedation journey. We still have seats available in the Washington, D.C. course May 5-7, 2011 and would be happy to help you register for an upcoming sedation or ACLS course today.
